Nutritional therapy is a natural approach to restoring and maintaining good health.
At foodlinkfirst we assess an individual’s background, the demands of their lifestyle and their specific physiological needs. We use this information to build a nutrition strategy which is tailored to the client and focuses on addressing their specific health concerns. We offer a proactive form of healthcare which addresses the potential causes of ill health be they nutritional deficiencies, biochemical imbalances, allergies or food sensitivities.
Applying nutritional therapy in this way may prove invaluable for the management of a wide range of health conditions from autism and hyperactivity to hormonal problems, multiple sclerosis, depression and weight management.
What can you expect?
- All consultations are confidential
- Advice and recommendations are personalised to your specific lifestyle and commitments
- Full support is provided throughout the duration of the programme.
Prior to your appointment you will be asked to complete a comprehensive nutrition and lifestyle questionnaire. This information will be developed to provide a complete picture of your diet, medical history and lifestyle.
Dependent on the nature of your symptoms and their severity it may be advisable to conduct certain diagnostic tests. These laboratory procedures provide tools to assess biochemical imbalances,
immune reactions or digestive dysfunction. Such tests may confirm suspected problems or validate
the necessary nutritional protocol. We only use reputed organisations offering some of the most advanced
diagnostic services currently available in the UK.
You are advised to allow 60 minutes for the initial consultation and a minimum of 45 minutes for a follow up assessment. Where test results need to be discussed the follow up appointment may need to be extended.
When attending your consultation please bring full details of any nutritional supplements and / or any current medication.
At the end of your consultation you will be given a tailored nutritional programme which will incorporate dietary advice, lifestyle modifications, advice on supplements (if appropriate) as well as full explanations of the recommendations made.
