Nicola Rapley is our qualified Personal Trainer here at Optimum... Our PT sessions are usually based within the Studio with the use of our weights, resistance bands, Gym Balls, Punch Bag plus outdoor activity which could include running, circuits, interval training and more...

We offer a tailor-made nutrition and personal training programme to help you achieve your weight loss goals and to improve your overall sense of well being.
Louise Plummer DipION, Nutritional Therapist and Nicola Rapley, Premier Three, Personal Trainer will work with you on a one-to-one basis to provide you with a personalised food plan and exercise programme, as well as lifestyle advice, to help you lose weight – and keep it off.
We don’t believe in faddy diets and dramatic weight loss. We advocate that the healthiest way to lose weight – and keep it off - is to lose it gradually through good nutrition and regular exercise.  Losing weight is not always easy and there can be a wide range of factors that might have contributed to your weight gain.  As a nutritional therapist Louise recognises that each person is an individual who has unique dietary and nutrition needs.  She will work with you to help address the factors that have lead to your weight gain and to provide you with a personalised food plan and lifestyle advice to help you reach your weight loss goals. Likewise, our personal trainer, Nicola, will assess your exercise requirements and develop an exercise programme specialised for your needs and that fits with your lifestyle, whether you’ve never undertaken regular exercise before or you are stuck in an exercise ‘rut’ and want advice on new ways to shake up your work-out and increase the intensity for better results.
We understand that it can be difficult to adjust to a new way of eating and/or starting regular exercise and committing to it on a regular basis which is why we offer email and phone support during your weight loss programme to help keep you motivated and to answer any questions you may have along the way.
